Joshua Developments
Joshua developments Pty Ltd, was originally Brundewarra Pastoral Co Pty Ltd. A business concerned with a range of extensive agricultural practices in the shoalhaven area. From 1950 to 1970 the primary activity was milk manufacturing which, with the acquisition of further land holdings, totalling 2500 hectares saw the company diversified to beef production and cropping of maize and specialised small seed harvesting through a double crop program in the 1980's.
Further development of land holdings in Queensland saw the company branch out into real estate development , only later to suffer from the recession when consolidation became necessary.
As the 80's grew increasingly, financially difficult. The company further diversified to incorporate Landscaping as another income generator, turfing , brushwood fencing, and contracting to name a few.
1990 saw even further need to feed the recession aftermath by incorporating contracting services in the civil works, agricultural breeding and cropping services. Following these developments, in 1994 Brundewarra Pastoral Co embarked on the development of The Vineyard Golflinks. An 18 Hole Golf course built on the existing beef property at Worrigee.
With the passing of Keith & Marie Stevens, two of the three directors, Brundewarra Pastoral Co Pty Ltd was wound up. The remaining director, Cameron Stevens, and his wife Penny, suffered the loss of their only son,Joshua Keith David Stevens and to mark his passing, Joshua Developments Pty Limited was formed.
The present day operations of Joshua developments Pty Ltd are mainly concerned with Agricultural & Real-estate property development including Golf Course design and construction, civil works within the Shoalhaven.
